IIOM members provide obsolescence prediction tools and services in two ways.
Subscription tools that are particularly powerful for electronic components, electro-mechanical components, and some mechanical fasteners. Users can run custom reports as well as receive valuable guidance on environmental compliance and counterfeit risk by downloading complete bills of materials or single parts.
Other providers will undertake assessment of the parts described above but also manage material and non-electronic components and assemblies by data mining of the sources in several ways.
Members are encouraged to speak with the IIOM International CTO who can direct you to the best members to help you with your specific challenges.
